History of Church On The Way

Church on the way started in Oct 2005 when Pastor Rod began to think
seriously about planting a church in Quesada. God confirmed this desire by commissioning Pastor Daniel-Sam from the UK to visit Spain and anoint Rod and his wife Janet for the new work. Needless to say Pastor Daniel-Sam was unaware of the desire within Rod to start a new work.

A venue was sought and on March the 12th 2006 Church on the Way had its first meeting. The Los Olivos room at La Laguna Hotel is where you can find the family of “Church on the Way” every Sunday morning at 10.45. Those who have visited the church will testify that a more comfortable venue would be hard to find.

There are no other English speaking churches in this area. Indeed the only other church in Quesada is a Spanish speaking Catholic Church which is open to all nationalities. The church is certainly meeting a need in this area, and as the love of God is made manifest in and through His children others will be drawn to the one and only true God, who is sovereign of the universe, and creator of all things.
